Bayberry, Northern* (Myrica pennsylvanica) potted shrub

Annual.  50 to 55 days.  This is a 1,500 year old cultivar that is attributed to the Anasazi cave dwellers.  The beans taste sweet and creamy (like a Pinto Bean) and cook to a smooth texture.  75% less gassy than modern beans.

Annual.  55 days.  The most vigorous bean we've ever grown, germ took only 4 days in our trials and it seemed like every bean came up and prospered.  This particular bean is well known to produce sweet, round in cross section, stringless beans, 6 to 7 inch pods on a self-supporting bush to 15 inches tall.  Excellent choice for fresh harvest, market garden and home garden.  Solid texture makes them an excellent choice for freezing and canning, as well.  An old-time favorite that has never let us down.  There are approximately 1,800 seeds in a pound of blue lake bush bean seeds.

Annual.  70 days.  This is an heirloom cultivar that dates back to the 1930's.  Making vigorous vines to 10 feet, we found them to produce well over a long period of time.  They were good when eaten young as snap beans and also made excellent green shell beans, which we cooked up like Limas.
