Erect, branching evergreen shrub flowering to 6 feet tall, native to California and Southern Oregon.  Hardy to 20 degrees F.  The long, lance-shaped leaves of this plant are coated with aromatic resin, making them sticky and shiny.  They make a great offering.  The flowers are beautiful, purple/lavender tubes 1/2 inch long, ocurring in clusters at the top of the stems.
