Coffee (Coffea arabica)
Family:  Rubiaceae
Evergreen bush to small tree, native to Ethiopia.  Protect from frost.  The bushes are glossy-leaved and handsome, bearing white flowers that exude delicious aromas.  Coffee makes a very handsome indoor plant, greenhoused plant, or can be plated outdoors in the tropics.  Plants prefer shade to start, but after three or four years are best given full sun conditions.  Plants live up to 100 years.
